Week 5 – Ravens Recap & Grades

Ravens 30, Raiders 17 : Week 5 – Recap & Grades –
Offense : Much better this week. The passing game got going early & the running game was solid all day. The Ravens rush for 143 on 39 carries, an average of 3.7 yards per carry. Joe Flacco had excellent protection all day, he was not sacked once.
Grade – A
Defense : They turned a fumble into a Defensive TD, registered 3 sacks & most of Oakland’s playmakers were quiet all day. This unit does allow 108 yards rushing on 25 carries, an average of 4.3 yards per carry.
Grade – B-
Special Teams : Justin Tucker hits on all 3 of his FG attempts of 22, 21 & 42 yards. Sam Koch Punts it away 3 times for 117 yards, an average of 39.0 yards per Punt & Michael Campanaro returns 2 Punts for 19 yards.
Grade – B
Coaching : The Ravens attacked the Raiders weaknesses right away & limited most of their big plays. The coaching staff stuck to the run all day & used it to close the Raiders out late.
