Splitting Up

White Sox 7, Orioles 6 (Game 2) : Splitting Up – Yonder Alonso’s 2-run walk off single in the bottom of the 9th wins it for the White Sox as they split the doubleheader w/ the O’s & win the series in the process.
Jose Abreu remains red-hot, as he has 2 more hits, including a homer (#6) in the 3rd & a 3-run single in the 4th, he drives in 4 more runs, giving him 6 on the day & also extends his hitting streak to 10 games. Stevie Wilkerson hits a 3-run blast (#2) in the 4th & the recently called up Anthony Santander (#1) hits a solo blast to tie it in the 6th. Alonso singles off of reliever Miguel Castro to bring home the tying & winning runs in the 9th, ending a long, cold day for both teams. Baltimore will have the day off today before returning home to host Tampa Bay tommorow night.
