True Athletiscm : The Athletics extend their winning streak to 13 games before the O’s win in Game 3 to snap the winning streak, while also avoiding the sweep. 
Game 1 : Athletics 3, Orioles 1 – A’s starter, Cole Irvin allows just 1 run through 5+ innings, giving up 8 hits while walking just 1 & striking out 6. Stephen Piscotty singles home a run in the 2nd & Ramon Laureano homers in the 5th to give Irvin some more run support. Pedro Severino singles home the O’s only run in the 6th but the Birds would never score again. Oakland extends it’s winning streak to 12 games as they continue to roll after an 0-6 start.

Game 2 : Athletics 7, Orioles 2 – The A’s attack early as Matt Olsen singles home Mark Canha, who drives in 2 on a single in the 3rd & Chris Bassitt makes it stand up, as he goes 6 innings to earn the win, allowing 2 runs on 8 hits, striking out 8 & walking 1. Olsen also doubles home Canha in the 2nd & Jed Lowrie adds a 3-run shot in the 4th to break the game open. Chance Sisco & Trey Mancini each double home a run for Baltimore in the loss.

Game 3 : Orioles 8, Athletics 1 : John Means pitches 6+ innings, allowing just 1 run on 2 hits, walks 3 & strikes out 6 as the bats give him some early run support. Austin Hays hits a solo shot in the 2nd & a 2-run shot in the 4th, while Maikel Franco hits a solo shot in a 4-run Orioles 8th. Ramon Laureano homers in the 4th for Oakland in the loss. The O’s stop the A’a 13 game winning streak & get back in the win column themselves.
