Game 1 : Athletics 3, Orioles 1 – A’s starter, Cole Irvin allows just 1 run through 5+ innings, giving up 8 hits while walking just 1 & striking out 6. Stephen Piscotty singles home a run in the 2nd & Ramon Laureano homers in the 5th to give Irvin some more run support. Pedro Severino singles home the O’s only run in the 6th but the Birds would never score again. Oakland extends it’s winning streak to 12 games as they continue to roll after an 0-6 start.

Game 2 : Athletics 7, Orioles 2 – The A’s attack early as Matt Olsen singles home Mark Canha, who drives in 2 on a single in the 3rd & Chris Bassitt makes it stand up, as he goes 6 innings to earn the win, allowing 2 runs on 8 hits, striking out 8 & walking 1. Olsen also doubles home Canha in the 2nd & Jed Lowrie adds a 3-run shot in the 4th to break the game open. Chance Sisco & Trey Mancini each double home a run for Baltimore in the loss.
