So Omazing : The Orioles go into Seattle & take 2 out of 3, including a No-Hitter by John Means in the series finale that snaps a 52 year drought. take 4 out of 6 on their Westcoast trip.

Game 1 : Orioles 5, Mariners 3 – The O’s bust loose for 5 runs in the 8th inning after trailing 1-0, as Cedric Mullins & Freddy Galvis each drill a 2-run homer, all 5 runs come w/ 2 outs as the Birds ambush the Mariners, Mullins has 3 hits on the night & has an AL high 38 hits. Dean Kremer goes 6 strong innings, allowing just 1 run on 2 hits, striking out 4 & walking 2, in the best start of his young career, his lone mistake coming on a solo shot by Tom Murphy in the 5th. Mitch Haniger hits a 2-run shot for Seattle in the 8th but their rally falls short.

Game 2 : Mariners 5, Orioles 2 – One night after the Orioles explode for 5 runs in the 8th, the Mariners bust loose for 4 of their own, as Kyle Seager hits a sacfly to tie it & Kyle Lewis hits a 3-run bomb to put Seattle on top for good – Seager also hits a solo shot in the 4th. Justin Dunn allows a run on just 3 hits, walks 4 & strikes out 6 in just over 5+ innings & reliever Kendall Graveman comes on in relief, extends his scoreless streak to 18 2/ 3 innings. Rio Ruiz provides the only offense for the O’s w/ solo shot in the 5th, until he scores on a single by Trey Mancini the 9th, he has 3 hits.

Orioles 6, Mariners 0 – John Means throws his first career No-Hitter, falls a wild pitch short of a perfect game, as he strikes out 12 & walks none over the full 9 innings. Means gets J.P. Crawford to line out to SS Ramon Urias as the Orioles dug out mobs home plate in Seattle. It’s the Orioles first No-Hitter since 1969 & the 3rd No-Hitter thrown so far this season. Pat Valaika hits a solo homer in the 7th to add to the lead & Trey Mancini drills a 3-run shot in the 9th to put the game away. Means strikes out Sam Haggerty, but the wild pitch allows him to reach, but was caught trying to steal 2nd.
